Victory Dinner Details

Tamika 1

Tamika Catchings was the Indian Fever's "do-everything" forward who recently retired after completing her 15th season in the WNBA.  She is the league's all-time leader in steals while ranking 2nd in points scored and rebounds.  She is a 4-time Olympic Gold Medalist.  Tamika graduated from the Tennesee where she played for arguably the best basketball coach of all time, Pat Summit.  It was Pat who encouraged Tamika to accept the hearing disability she'd been dealing with since birth - a life changing decision that would make her a role model for more than athletic ability.  Tamika is using her platform as the founder of Catch the Stars Foundation, which empowers youth to achieve their dreams by providing goal setting programs that promote fitness, literacy, and youth development.  Tamika is sharing her unique story to those around her about how faith, hard work, passion, and sacrifice got her to the top of her game.

6:30 PM Registration/Reception
7:00 PM Dinner

All adults are invited to join us for dinner at the Bethesda North Marriott. There is no cost to attend, but there will be an opportunity to join our team of supporters by joining the monthly home-team of supporters or make a one-time contribution that helps make all we do possible.

Adults and Businesses can help in one of three ways:

1. Be a table host. If you are a current FCA supporter, we would love for you to be a table host. Simply, you invite other adults to join you for the night and share with them that this is a fundraiser and there will be an opportunity for them to give that night. Table hosts commit to filling a table of 8 adults.

2. Be a guest. If you want to attend the dinner and are not sitting with a particular table host, we would love to have you make a reservation to join us for the evening.

3. Be a MVP. Become an annual business partner helping us to expand our reach in Montgomery County.  Contact Nate Timm for more information (ntimm@fca.org).

Register here or contact Nate Timm, FCA Area Director for more information about being a table host, or a guest.
